Game Awards 2023 – A Few To Consider

Game Awards 2023

The Game Awards 2023 have been and gone. Though no doubt everyone took something they wanted which will differ from the next person. We all had our choices to win the coveted Game of the Year and this year’s Game Awards handed that crown to Larian studio with their RPG Baldur’s Gate 3.

So I thought I’d bring you some games I saw revealed that caught my EYE. Some of these may be on your radar, however some may not.

Game Awards 2023 – Some Personal Highlights

Please note these are just some personal picks of games that caught my eye

Brothers: A Tale Of Two Sons Remake

Josef Fares gave us another adventure before he gave the world A Way Out and It Takes Two. Unlike the previously mentioned titles, this was a purely single-player experience. Now it’s being remade in Unreal Engine 5 and adding co-op gameplay. This was a nice surprise and one I’m looking forward to.

Black Myth Wukong

A soul-like action RPG that has captured the eye of many. The visual quality shown in the Unreal Engine 5 engine is clear for all to see and it finally gets a release date. Hopefully, we get to see more on this soon.

Jurassic Park Survival

From childhood to the present day I have had a love for dinosaurs. I was in my teens when we were introduced to the world of Jurassic Park. I also love survival horror or survival adventures. One game announced caught my eye immediately and it’s one I’m eager to see more.

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2

Ninja Theory introduced the world to Senua in Hellblade. The game I didn’t play straight away. I first experienced it when it arrived on Xbox and I found the game moving and an incredible experience. The game moved me and the audio was one of many impressive points. So naturally a sequel would be one I would want to experience.

The Outlast Trials

Horror fans may be aware of the Outlast franchise. For a good horror experience, these are worth a look. Now, the newest installment is going well in early access and will bring the co-op experience to consoles in March.

Light No Fire

The next game from the team at Hello Games. We touched upon this game last year and saw the first look at this year’s event. Light No Fire is a game about surviving building and sharing an adventure with friends. Our setting this time is slightly smaller with it set on a procedurally generated fantasy world.
