One game tipped by many to win Game of the Year at the Game Awards is a top-selling RPG by developer Larian Baldur’s Gate 3. After leaving early access it launched first on PC and then on PlayStation. We talked about in an article about how good 2023 has been for gaming. For example, along with Baldur’s Gate 3 we saw Diablo 4 and Starfield release. It’s also a game that is coming to Xbox but has had a troubled path. Hopefully, Xbox owners can experience the world Larian created sooner rather than later.
Though Xbox fans waiting patiently for Baldur’s Gate 3 did receive some positive news. So while we don’t have a Xbox release date as yet it can be preordered for that system. However, before you jump onto the Xbox store to preorder this is for a new physical edition. It’s the deluxe edition which is coming Q1 2024. Baldur’s Gate 3 Deluxe Edition And What We Get
The physical release comes with the game. PlayStation 5 is 2 discs whilst Xbox Series X/S comes on 3 discs. You also get a game box. This has been designed to match the previous game’s cases. This edition also comes with a 3-disc original game soundtrack. Though that’s not all either with the edition coming with a map, stickers, patches, and a poster. Shipping states Q1 2024 so we would expect a release date within 3-4 months. As for the Xbox release it’s expected in December with news expected at this year’s Game Awards.
