So we come to the last quarter of 2023 and it’s been a great year for games. We’ve seen Hogwarts Legacy, Diablo 4, Baldur’s Gate 3, Starfield, and The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Keep in mind this is not all, we’ve seen some impressive smaller games arrive with the likes of Sea of Stars. However what about the rest of the year to close out the 2023 gaming selection?

Upcoming Games For Horror

So horror fans will have a little bit of a treat and we may see more added at the Tokyo Game Show. The first big addition to horror is the long-awaited sequel in Alan Wake 2. We also have the Unreal Engine 5 remake of Slender: The Arrival which celebrates the game’s tenth anniversary. Console users at the time of writing will experience the PC hit Phasmophobia. We also see the debut of Stray Souls which closes the month with a Halloween release. Alone in the Dark has moved to January 2024 and Unfollow hits PlayStation 5 and PC in February 2024. Desolatium hits on 27th October. The Bridge is Road to Salvation recently released along with No Son of Mine and Lempo.

2023 Games I Can’t Wait To Play

With so many games releasing the rest of 2023, it’s difficult to know where to start. Some of the horror games are games I can’t wait for are Alan Wake 2 and Stray Souls. With a love for racers, Forza is on my list. Spider-Man 2 is another game I’m eagerly looking forward to. When Insomniac launched the original title in 2018, it was my Game of the Year. Also, I am looking forward to Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Robocop Rogue City. However that’s not all, I am looking forward to Quantum Error and Lords of The Fallen has also caught my eye.
