We brought you the news a while ago about a PC and PlayStation 5 upcoming release called Pacific Drive. This is a unique title where we need to maintain our car to survive. Unfortunately, the game was hit with a delay. Thankfully Ironwood Studios told us the game was coming early 2024. The news softened the blow of a delay to those waiting to try this unique survival game out. However, what can we tell you about this game if you’re hearing about it for the first time?
The official description is that Pacific Drive is a first-person survival experience. Your companion on this journey. Well, it’s just you and your station wagon. You’ll have to traverse the Pacific Northwest. For this journey, you’ll “face supernatural dangers as you venture into the Olympic Exclusion Zone”. We need to maintain upgrade and repair the car as it’s a crucial tool to explore the area. However, if you’re interested in the game and curious about the development date we have an update. Thankfully this is more positive than the delay news.
Pacific Drive And When We Can See It
The PlayStation YouTube channel was the source of the update with a new trailer on the game. So let’s look at the trailer and see what it reveals.
Well, we see the trailer is a release date trailer and the game is meeting at the time of writing the early 2024 release schedule. With December just about to arrive we are very close to being able to experience and escape the exclusion zone for ourselves as the game is set to arrive on 22nd February.
