As gamers, we are constantly brainstorming new and exciting game ideas, often drawing inspiration from successful titles such as Marvel’s Spider-Man. Recently, there has been a surge of interest in a Superman game, with numerous Reddit threads dedicated to the topic.
While many gamers suggest remakes or remasters of classic titles, such as Dragon Age Origins, I began pondering my own game ideas. Some may seem far-fetched or unprofitable, but without creative inspiration, we would never have seen iconic games like Gears of War or Tetris. In fact, the concept of Tetris even inspired a movie.
It’s important to nurture our ideas, as they can lead to groundbreaking new titles like the Grand Theft Auto series, which is now in its third generation with GTA V. So, let’s keep our imaginations running wild and see where they take us in the world of gaming.
Game Ideas – I Want To See Happen
The initial concepts are relatively straightforward. One idea is to utilize the Witcher 3 engine, or potentially even Unreal Engine 5 if feasible, to update Vampire The Masquerade Redemption for modern hardware. I recently revisited the original game, and although a fan-made Skyrim mod remake exists, an official updated version would be highly anticipated. Another idea is to remake Gun, a game I loved during its initial release due to my fondness for the American West. While it could certainly benefit from a more advanced engine, the question remains whether there would be enough demand to justify the effort.
After some further reflection, I have developed an interest in action RPGs, particularly those with a western theme. While Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption franchise has already explored this genre to great success, I am curious how game designers could further adapt it for an RPG. Additionally, I have been considering the potential for adapting some of my favorite films into action-adventure games, such as Westworld and The Godfather. These ideas may seem far-fetched, but I would love to hear your thoughts and ideas on what games you would like to see.
