Jane Foster Mighty Thor Avengers Game Details Revealed Hideo Kojima Almost Made Project Similar To The Boys DEADCRAFT Review: Pass or Play?? Deliver Us The Moon Next Gen Vs PC Comparison The Last of Us Part 1 Remake Should NOT Have Happened

Back in July, Xbox and PC owners with a Game Pass subscription got treated to a new shooter. This one was a bit different as it blended action RPG elements into an isometric shooter. So what is the game in question? Well, that is The Ascent. The official description was as follows

The Ascent is a solo and co-op action-shooter RPG set in a cyberpunk world. The mega corporation that owns you and everyone, The Ascent Group, has just collapsed. Can you survive without it?

When it launched it caught the eye with the environmental detail being of such a high standard. The gameplay was action-packed and was well received with mostly positive reviews. PlayStation gamers however missed out on the popular title from Neon Giant.

Next Stop, A New Platform?

PlayStation gamers did wonder if a release would materialize for the PlayStation 4 or 5 consoles. It seems this could be on the cards thanks to a leak revealed by Gematsu. What this showed was The Ascent has been giving a rating for both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in Taiwan. This isn’t an uncommon leak for game releases as a few titles appeared on this rating system.

Normally when leaks like this appear, it’s been common practice to assume the information is correct.  What we have seen in the past is the official announcement following shortly after the rating leak. Now, it’s no guarantee this is the case here but it’s entirely possible it will be true and could launch sooner rather than later. Have you played this on Xbox or PC? Were you waiting for a release on PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5? Either way, it’s your views we would love to hear.  So please get in touch and let us know your thoughts on these developments.
