The world of Shop Sims is growing day by day, but finally one for fans of Miniature Collectors has dropped into Early Access on Steam.
Tabletop Game Shop Simulator (TTGSS) features a glamorous look into the life of a retail worker on the surface, stocking shelves, setting displays, and running your own shop for collectors just like you. From humble beginnings to a robust inventory, you grow your shop and level up through sales, but that won’t be all on offer.
Not Just For Sale
From the start, the game offers you a way to waste hours between sales and shifts by cracking open packs of models and collecting parts to build or sell your own miniature army. I found myself spending much of my shop’s revenue simply popping boxes open to collect as many little demons as I could; the models themselves are fairly cool-looking, so I couldn’t help but dance with debt.
As I built out the shop, I often spent the end of the day just reorganizing and restocking until things were perfect, with models on one side, books on another, and a whole painting corner as well. Did I forget to mention that you can paint your collection as well? While a simple minigame, there is definitely something Zen about bringing the models some color and life.

Once I collected and painted a whole armada, I started selling the highest-priced ones to the true connoisseurs who dropped by my shop, and that only fed into the habit of opening more and more until I was back to zero, only to open the store the next day and get back to it. The addiction was real, and if you are a fan of Mini’s and collecting, as I turned out to be, then certainly this game is for you.
Final Thoughts on TTGSS
While TGSS is in early access, it offers a nice chill experience, fulfills that hobby itch, and even has its own battling minigame to fight your customers to show them who’s boss. Who says the customer is always right?

While I was never into miniatures, I do respect the care and attention put into this game, and I’d certainly recommend it for fans of chill retail sims, especially ones with a niche twist like this, currently available on Steam for the pretty cheap price of $12.99, which is a fair price given the Early Access launch.
