Have you ever wanted to feel like you are typing away in a black-and-white office with a frosted door being the only protection between you and the rest of the world, or are you looking for a classic look to add a dash of “old” to your office aesthetic? Well, look no further because Epomaker, the masters of functional and visually pleasing keyboards, has hit a home run with the latest Glyph keyboard. They have taken the design of a typewriter and modernized it with not only lights but also two screens and a slot that works as a tablet/phone stand.
I have been using the Glyph keyboard for over a month now, and it is safe to say, outside of its cool design, it is a reasonably priced way to enhance your keyboard experience.

What was in the box?
When you open up the Epomaker Glyph Keyboard, you see how much care went into its packaging, priced at $139.00. It comes securely packaged to minimize the chance of damage while in transit with high-quality styrofoam. Alongside the keyboard there is a stylish silicone wrist rest, 3 extra switches, 2 extra silicone stands, a 2-in-1 switch/keycap puller, a wireless 2.4 GHz receiver, and a detachable USB A-to-C cable included. The Glyph has three easy ways to be used. In no particular order, you can connect wirelessly with the 2.4 GHz receiver, via Bluetooth, and with a USB-C wired connection.
With the three ways to connect and the space for tablets/phones, this keyboard is made for almost any typing needs. It’s light and easy to move, but I’ve only used it at home. Personally, I wouldn’t see myself carrying it around in a bag outside of the home, but it is sturdy enough for that.
Now I have fat fingers and usually use square-shaped, full-sized keyboards, but it was pretty simple to transition to the Glyph. The only thing I missed while using it was my ten-key, but having it would ruin the look of the keyboard.
Two Screens and a Wheel!
A big highlight of the Glyph Keyboard is the two displays; one shows the date, and the 2.79-inch screen displays whatever you can get to fit on it. Using the Epomaker Driver v4, I was able to easily add a 428×142 LV1 Gaming logo as my display screen, and it makes me look extra professional. Through the driver, you can use a mouse (maybe even a touchpad) to draw a custom design or upload an image/GIF with the proper size. Being a far below-average artist, I stuck with uploading rather than displaying my poor artwork. Alongside that, there is the wheel.
The wheel fresh out of the box works as a volume control that also adds to the typewriter design. When you press the knob + Fn, it changes to the screen settings so that you can adjust the lighting directly from the keyboard.
Overall Thoughts On the Glyph Keyboard
The Glyph is a solid keyboard for typing and maybe even some light mouse and keyboard gaming. It is clear as day that this model is made for someone seeking to enhance their retrofuturistic style or yearning for a typewriter feel. The keyboard features a matte and calming color pattern along with cute bottlecap-esque keycaps, while also providing the feel and function of a top-of-the-line mechanical keyboard. Now I am one who prefers having a full-size ten-key keyboard, but the customizable 2.79-inch screen more than made up for it. With the easily swappable switches, customizable RGB backlight, and customizable RGB keyboard lights, the Epomaker Glyph will fit a wide variety of needs. And come on, it looks and keys clack like a classic typewriter. You can purchase this keyboard for $139.00 from the official Epomaker website. If you are a streamer who shows their keyboard often while streaming, this model would be an epic addition.
