The newest State of Play came packing some major showcases from Capcom. And while everyone jas been gushing about the reveal of the long-rumored Resident Evil 4 Remake; they also had a one-two punch combo. As they revealed brand new gameplay as Street Fighter 6 hits the streets in a new trailer.
Without a doubt Street Fighter is a juggernaut in the FGC and after some controversy with SF5 it seems that Capcom is all in on making the newest entry. And with its latest trailer showing off this is on full display.
The trailer focuses on newcomers Luke and Jamie in a new open-world single-player mode called World Tour. While there aren’t many details released just yet it will definitely be different than anything we have seen previously. For Street Fighter fans Luke was one of the characters shown off in the original announce trailer, but he was also introduced as a playable character in season 5 for SF5. Previously teased as going to be an important character for the future of the series.
Alongside the tease of the Single-player experience, we got a look at the iconic and staple Fighting Ground mode. This is their mode that most will traditionally know and along with new details on the new drive system; there is definitely going to be more approachability for fighting game fans new and old, Pro and casual players. Street Fighter 6 hits the streets next year and will launch on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on Steam.
