Rainbow Six Siege fans have been enjoying the Crystal Guard season. However, at the start of the month fans of the popular tactical shooter from Ubisoft got bad news. The Rainbow Six Siege second season for Year 7 was due to launch on the 7th of June, but then Ubisoft announced a slight delay to the Operation Vector Glare update via social media. It’s not often the new seasons receive a delay so this was a rare occurrence.
After completing a testing pass, we’ve identified a player experience issue and have decided to postpone the release of Operation Vector Glare in order to address it. We’ll share details on the new date as soon as we can.Operation Vector Glare got a slight delay
Each new season goes on a test server on PC. For the Siege second season Operation Vector Glare update, this was no different. This was live on May 24th on PC.
As For The State Of Operation Vector Glare
Ubisoft clearly didn’t need long to fix the issues clearly found in testing phase. They announced the new Rainbow SixSiege Second Season date.
That goes live on June 14th, so only a week delay. The official post also goes into more depth on Sens the new operator and provides the full patch notes. As well as a new operator we get a new map for the Team Death Match mode. This is Close Quarter and the first dedicated map for the mode. As previously it’s mostly used existing maps. Personally, I found didn’t always work the best due to the map layout. We also get the shooting range.
New operator guides are coming as well as new player protection. Changes to screen shake have been added and operator balancing. Map balancing for rotation selection is something I’d like to see. In about 20 hours of gameplay on Crystal Guard, I experienced the newest map once but could get placed on older maps half a dozen times. Are you a fan of the game. Regardless of what you think of this shooter we’d welcome your thoughts. So why not get in touch with us in the comments and share them.
