Not overly long ago we brought you news on a game called Fort Solis. It’s a psychological thriller in the third person on Mars. If we look at the brief description on Steam we see the following. This game “is an intense narrative thriller set on Mars, with claustrophobic exploration, nerve-racking set pieces, and a deep plot to discover”.
So what are we expecting to see when the game launches later this year? Again according to Steam. “Responding to an unusual alarm call from a remote mining base, Jack arrives at the dark and desolate Fort Solis. With storm warnings imminent, he heads inside to make desperate contact. As the night grows longer, events escalate, spiral out of control and the mystery of what happened to the crew begins to reveal itself. The storms is approaching, limiting Jack’s escape as he looks to hold out until morning arrives.” The game contains performances from Roger Clarke” (Arthur Morgan from Red Dead Redemption 2. We also have Troy Baker (Joel from The Last of Us)
Fort Solis Release Information
We have a new trailer revealed by Troy Baker himself. So we get another look at the game as well as release details. We see PlayStation 5 and Steam listed. However, as yet we have plans for an Xbox Series X/S release. We also have the release date. So we can wishlist the game on the PlayStation store and Steam ahead of its launch. However, that launch is quite close as we see a date of August 22nd. Though hopefully as that release date approaches we hear something about a Xbox release. This was one game I was looking forward to along with the upcoming stray souls. However, it seems a good end of the year for horror and thriller fans.
