More news has been released for the long awaited sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn, Horizon Forbidden West. Horizon Forbidden West will be launching in last-gen hardware as well as the PlayStation 5 and will be eligible for a free upgrade. This is possible thanks to Sony backtracking after a backlash from fans.
We’ve seen PlayStation 5 footage but have been severely lacking with the last-gen gameplay content. Now we have some screens of how it looks on a PlayStation 4 Pro which Guerrilla posted on Twitter.
Further footage was posted on the PlayStation Blog by Angie Smets. She is Guerrilla’s Studio Director & Executive Producer. However, for the base PlayStation 4, we have seen very little. However the few screens we were shown look impressive, which is to be expected. Maybe we will see more news in the next couple of weeks for both last-gen systems, including their file size.
Horizon Forbidden West. Still on track for launch.
The continuation of Aloy’s journey is one of a trio of big February releases. We have Dying Light 2 next week and Elden Ring at the end of the month. Elden Ring has just gone gold and now we have news Horizon Forbidden West has followed suit.
It’s a busy period with all of these big open-world titles launching within three weeks of each other. So which if any are you going to be grabbing?
