Now, another takes the futuristic themed stage, that being Etheria: Restart. This is an all-new free-to-play turn-based strategy RPG from developer XD. This is promised to be a next-generation feeling experience, across iOS, Android, and Steam. Below is when you can expect to experience the title for yourself!
When Etheria: Restart is Set to Launch
Etheria: Restart will be launching on June 5th with a closed Beta starting on May 8th. It will again launch on iOS, Android, and Steam simultaneously. This will be a new turn-based strategy RPG in a futuristic setting where elite warriors known as Hyperlinkers command sentient beings called Animus in sleek, tactical combat. One of the characters that made their debut during the recent livestream with the release date was Freya. Freya has an elegant, glacial-themed design with devastating area control abilities that you can see in action below!
In Etheria: Restart, there are some streamlined systems in the game. Such as Smart Shells, which offer tactical AI support in battle, and Origin Gear, a modular progression tool allowing deeper customization of Animus builds. Not only that, but The Phantom Theatre, a cooperative PvE mode, lets players team up to overcome bosses in dramatic staged encounters. Allowing players to take on tough challenges together, while PvP-focused players can tackle the Real-Time Arena. This will be a competitive mode that requires tactical thinking, team synergy, and real-time decision-making. It will also include a ranked ladder system with seasonal resets, exclusive rewards, and matchmaking designed to challenge top-tier players while remaining accessible to casual competitors.
Do keep in mind that Etheria: Restart will feature a Gacha-centered monetization system. This means a lot of character acquisition will be left up to gambling, essentially. So, if you engage with the game, do so with caution.
