Where Gaming Begins

Zenless Zone Zero is Coming to Xbox Series Consoles in June

One of the more recent hits in the Gacha game space has been Zenless Zone Zero from last year. Seeing as it is the third ongoing game from developer Hoyoverse, it had its up and downs while finding the mold its community loved. Those communities on PC, Mobile and PlayStation 5, will now have another community to welcome with open arms soon. This is because the game is set to launch on Xbox Series consoles in a few months. That’s right, this fast paced and intense action game is coming to Xbox in June, and here is what you should expect from the launch!

What to Expect from Zenless Zone Zero on Xbox

As someone who has been playing Zenless Zone Zero since it launched, the Xbox version is going to be loaded with a ton of new content and changes. Such as more story content, and the removal of the controversial “TV mode” which was replaced with a fun platformer mini game. The game comes packaged with a very lengthy story, and colorful cast of characters. While also having vibrant and chill settings, and a wealth of mini games to engage in.

You will be a Proxy, who helps agents investigate mysterious hollows in New Eridu. Acting as their leader, you will find yourself taking on commissions and fighting off dangerous foes with characters that have their own move set. Ranging from agile gun wielders to nimble sword, hammer and bow users. All with their combos, passives and abilities to use on the fly against monstrous foes that sport their own abilities and patterns to learn. But what sets apart the gameplay is the dodging and parrying mechanic. Where enemies will give off a visual blink to react to while you’re attacking them to either dodge out of the way and perform a counter, or parry and summon a companion to take over in combat.

The mission structure in Zenless Zone Zero is very different from Hoyoverse’s other games. Unlike Genshin Impact, where you have an overwhelming and massive open world to tackle. This game feature bite sized missions, and condensed locations to explore. All with simple objectives that never gets in the way of the fun.

Free-to-Play with a Catch

Zenless Zone Zero is going to be a free-to-play game, and you can wishlist it on Xbox here. But does feature a Gacha monetization system. What this means is that there is gambling in the game, and if you are prone to gambling addictions, please steer clear of the game. For those that have self-control, the game will be launching either before or at the same time they launch its soon to be announced anniversary event. Where you will be able to earn even more pulls for characters than what is already available.
