Dying Light 2 after delays and a period where fans were unsure if it would arrive is close to launching. The eagerly awaited sequel we know has gone gold and is now just under three weeks from release. The recent delay gave a 4th of February release date which is just around the corner. We also have a, look at the state of the game a month before launch.

Like the original game, there are plans to support this post-launch. In fact, they still support the original game with that receiving an update to support the new consoles. So for Dying Light 2, it seems Techland is going to offer similar post-launch support. As the original Dying Light is seven years old already. The game still has support as we know in terms of content.

The Techland stance

The first glimpse was given on Twitter when they announced the plan for post-launch content for the game. It seems it’s going to support the release in a similar fashion to the game’s predecessor. And the support for that game helped the success it achieved.

This followed on the news that to 100% complete every aspect of the game will take time. They stated it has around 500 hours of gameplay.
