What do you do when a horrible incident from the past hops back into your life? Carl is a suburban house frog whose normal amphibian life is flipped upside down in the game Frog Legs. The game is developed by Elliot Dahle, a solo dev who has been creating games since 2019 and has previously released The Man in the Park. The blending of 2D arcade style and 3D first-person gameplay creates a unique horror experience that can be finished in one sitting, according to the developer.
“Across a concise adventure that can be completed in a single sitting, follow Carl and his friends as they take an unexpected leap down memory lane. Hop between classic, 2D arcade-style gameplay and 3D first-person, solve puzzles and gather cryptic clues to figure out why the past is returning now. All of this, while experiencing spooks and scares that will have each of their froggy hearts beating out of their uncomfortably moist skin.”
