On April 1st, the official X account for Zenless Zone Zero posted an image of an Xbox themed Bangboo (the adorable mascot character of the game) and was widely regarded by the internet as a typical April Fool’s joke. This was made even more apparent when the ending line of that post read, “X Version launches on February 30, 2222!”.
Obviously, reading that part would solidify a lighthearted joke being made. However, in a recent post on the official X account, they have confirmed that it was not actually a joke. But instead, a humorous tease of an Xbox version. As a special Spotlight stream is airing on the 11th of this month talking about the upcoming Xbox version. Here is what you should expect from the stream!
What to Expect from the Zenless Zone Zero Xbox Spotlight Stream
Zenless Zone Zero is currently on version 1.6. This version update included awesome new story chapters for the main story. As well as three new dedicated story chapters for characters, all with their own cinematics and stellar voice acting. That being said, in the official X post on game’s account they said the following:
Tune in to our official livestream for an exclusive reveal of our upcoming Xbox release, plus exciting new updates you won’t want to miss!
This means that outside of announcing that the game will most likely release on the Xbox Series X|S consoles in the coming months. There might also be a tease of the next version update or possible upcoming events in the game and gameplay for Vivian. There might be one last main story chapter before the game’s eventual 2.0 update in the coming months. But it might also include some Xbox-themed goodies for players on those consoles to enjoy. Such as the Xboo you see above.
