A lot of talk around Sony and PlayStation this week has been how they respond to the recent big news. This of course was the multi-billion purchase of Activision Blizzard by Microsoft. But Sony is still trying to continue as normal and one title coming soon is called Zenith: The Last City. This is due to launch next week on the 27th of January. So just before we see Nathan Drake makes his debut on PlayStation 5 a day later.

Zenith: The Last City is a title for the PSVR. Though how many more will launch on this as Sony has announced the PSVR 2. This was announced earlier in the month so it seems the PlayStation 4 model is still being supported in its short lifespan. But Zenith: The Last City could be one of the last titles the model will receive before we see the replacement.

So the premise behind this game

Firstly the game is by Ramen VR and is an MMO. Players will get the option to fight, craft, and explore. It’s a fully open world and will fully cross-play with PC VR and Occulus Quest. The official description on their website is as follows.

The world of Zenith crawls with monsters that have been empowered by a dark and mysterious god — but glory and treasures await those brave enough to unveil Zenith’s mysteries. Will you rise to help defeat the darkness and become the hero Zenith needs?

At launch, it will be available for $29.99/£22.99. For the UK only Occulus has a price point up which is 10% for launch. They promise to regularly update it post-launch. However, will this be one game you are looking at or leaving be? So whatever your thoughts we’d love to hear from you. If you are interested, then following the game’s Twitter account may be worth looking into.
