We recently informed you of the alleged file size required to download Frey Holland’s narrative to your PlayStation 5 system. We didn’t have any PC specifications at the time, so I found this page through a Google search. I also suggested that you take into account the possibility that they might not be correct. They were months old, identified Windows 7 as the operating system, and had about 40 GB less capacity than the PlayStation 5. The prerequisites people were posting are quite far from being able to run Forspoken on PC, thus it would appear that I was very right in warning you.
There was a new developer Livestream that announced some changes to the Forspoken demo as well as listed the PC requirements needed. There are three settings available, the normal minimum requirements and recommended as well as Ultra. Where Game Debate said this would need 50 GB, the reality is actually much higher. So let’s break down what rig you’re going to need to meet the announced requirements.

The Forspoken Demo Changes
The changes in the demo have been reported by Eurogamer. This is what they said about the changes
For the PS5 demo, “various technical issues” have been fixed including locked-on enemies that move off-screen and lose their locked-on status. The demo will also get button mapping functionality, and has had some of its text sizes adjusted.
So it looks like the PC build if you’re wanting a 60 fps experience you need some powerful hardware. Forspoken is close to launching as it is at the time of writing a week away. If you’re planning to pick it up or have experienced the demo, we’d love to hear from you.
