During Nintendos’ latest direct they revealed the next volume of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Expansion pass. The Volume 3 drop revealed the new upcoming content for the massive JRPG for the switch.
In the trailer for the newest expansion, we are introduced to Mahsa, the newest hero to join the roster. As well as, with her addition comes the new ability to craft special jewels and gemstones that add new abilities.
However, that’s not all that is coming with the newest update. As there will also be a new mode called the Archsage’s Gauntlet. Acting as a roguelike wave mode, where players choose one hero and fight waves of enemies.
As they progress they unlock other heroes and abilities as they try to beat the challenges. However, if players are able to beat all waves they can unlock unique new outfits for their characters.
However, that wasn’t all they had, as they also showed a quick preview of what is coming in volume 4. With a small snippet of new story content, fans will have to wait to see more.
The Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Volume 3 expansion will be launching on February 15th. Let us know if you are excited for the new hero and mode coming in volume 3.
