The demolition racer Wreckfest is crashing onto the PlayStation 5 on June 1st. Published by THQ Nordic and developed by Bugbear Entertainment. Wreckfest launched on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on January 14th, 2014. Also, this title is the spiritual successor to the FlatOut series.
The new version will offer enhanced visuals. Better textures, improved visual effects, and even dynamic dirt on vehicles will be part of the PlayStation 5 Version. The amount of players in multiplayer is now increased to 24. Also, It will run at 4k resolution and 60fps. Some more enhancements to note, Improved lighting, Godrays, DualSense haptic effects, and faster loading times.
This title is about intense fights to the finish line. True to life physics simulator developed by the team that made FlatOut. Wreckfest features a wide variety of foreign and domestic cars. Everything from the look and body armor of the vehicles is customizable. The customization options will have a direct effect on your vehicle. Making the changes meaningful and not simply cosmetic.
This title has an overall “Very Positive” rating on steam. Above all, there have been recent updates to the game including the Wrecknado Tournament and Reckless Car Pack. Wreckfest will be crashing on PlayStation 5 on June 1st, 2021. Digitally and physically for $39.99. Moreover, owners of the PlayStation 4 version of the game can upgrade to the enhanced version for $9.99.
