At the beginning of last month, we reported on Maverick Games, a studio founded by Mike Brown, formerly of Playground Games, who led Forza Horizon 5 instead of Ralph Filton, who is now heading up the Fable reboot. Maverick Games comprises former employees of Sumo Digital and EA. Wildlight Entertainment is another new studio with an EA connection.
Wildlight Entertainment as we see when we look deeper has a very deep connection with EA. So to explain how, if we tell you the core of the team contains developers responsible for Apex Legends and Titanfall. Therefore, as it’s well known, both these games are published by EA and the works of Respawn Entertainment. This is also the studio responsible for the upcoming Star Wars Jedi Survivor.

We are a new, fully-funded entertainment studio hyper-focused on creating big, bold, original gaming universes of epic quality and scale. We’ve been quietly working on a new IP for some time, and while it’ll be a bit before we can say more, we’re beyond excited for what’s to come.
However soon as we know more about their projects you’ll be sure to find out. It may also be some time before we hear about what the upcoming IP is. Though it’s a team full of staff with a vast wealth of experience at their disposal.
