Turn-based tactics games are synonymous with deep RPGs. Such is the case of Wildermyth, a game originally launched back in 2021. Wildermyth is a very deep experience, focused on the characters you build and how they shape the story once you begin your journey. Sporting a unique papercraft art style, this party-based RPG evokes the feeling of table-top games unlike any other. For years however, this one-of-a-kind experience could only be experienced on PC. But, as of today the game is being released on consoles, with a physical version planned for next month!

Details on the Console Launch for Wildermyth

Wildermyth is a procedurally generated tactical RPG with a character driven approach. Any character you craft for the journey that does not make it through the whole story can be reused for future runs. Allowing you to expand on their legacy in unique ways. Every character can also have custom relationships made for or against other characters. Such as allowing some to be rivals, friends, or their future love if they make it.

Wildermyth allows for up to 5 players to take on runs cooperatively. Tackling multiple engaging battles with manuevers that require you to be precise with positioning. Using walling and flanking to your advantage and using explosive magic to change the battlefield. Each battle could be a brutal challenge or a fun cakewalk with various difficulty options to choose from.

Wildermyth is available now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4|5, and Nintendo Switch right now for $24.99. With an optional “Offhand Item Skin Pack” for $4.99.
