The long-awaited sequel to one of the most well-received Star Wars games is here.
The story of Cal Kestis started in 2019 with Jedi Fallen Order. That is now upgraded for the new consoles. 28th April we pick up the story of Cal five years on in the events of Jedi Survivor. It launched on PC as well as Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.

Like Fallen Order Jedi Survivor is an action adventure in the iconic Star Wars franchise. The story of Cal takes place just after the events of the Revenge of the Sith. The Jedi have nearly all been killed with Cal one of the very few that remain. Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda have hidden and Luke Skywalker is just a boy. Cal is now a Jedi knight and has been fighting the Empire with his friends.

Why Jedi Survivor Was A Worthy Sequel

I personally loved Fallen Order and it’s one of my favorite games based on the franchise. So naturally a sequel was something I eagerly looked forward to. However, would I love the sequel as much? Especially when Star Wars has been part of my life since I was born. One of the last things I did with my dad was a cinema trip to see them at a time latest entry of Return of the Jedi. So with a franchise dear to me, I am particular about the quality of games. Visually this game feels so real. For me, it recreated the Star Wars world and the sounds in the game and the musical score fits the visuals. I feel part of the universe.

The events in this game are powerful. I went through several emotions throughout the story. For me it topped the experience of Fallen Order. We may get to see more as it is reported they want a trilogy from this story. I know some found gameplay frustrating and it’s a shame as this is at heart an absolutely incredible experience that made one lifelong Star Wars fan really happy. All my footage below is from my journey on Xbox Series X.
