The Last of Us Part II cleaned house with seven awards: GOTY, Best Game Direction, Innovation in Accessibility, Best Audio Design, Best Narrative, Best Performance for Laura Bailey as Abby, and Best Action/Adventure. Other notable winners include Final Fantasy VII Remake with Best Score/Music and Best RPG, Hades with Best Action Game and Best Indie Game, and Among Us with Best Mobile Game and Best Multiplayer Game. - Perfect Dark is getting a reboot with Xbox’s new studio the Initiative.
- Ark 2 featuring Vin Diesel was announced.
- Back4Blood by the makers of Left4Dead was announced.
- A new Among Us map called The Airship is coming Early 2021.
- Master Chief and Walking Dead’s Daryl and Michonne are joining Fortnite.
- Sephiroth from Final Fantasy is joining Smash.

- A director’s cut of Sea of Thieves is coming out on the Nintendo Switch on March 4th, 2021.

- Century: Age of Ashes is releasing in February 2021.
- Back4Blood, a spiritual successor to Left4Dead, comes out in June 2021.
- Hood: Outlaws and Legends releases on May 10th, 2021.

- Crimson Desert launches in 2021.
- Outriders will be releasing on February 2nd, 2021.
