Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks Gets an Update

Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks received a major update! The Creation Workshop is a real-time toolkit that lets players create custom content. It’s fitting because one of my favorite things about Warhammer 40,000 is seeing the tabletop Orkz players get creative with converting things like Tonka Trucks or Mr. Potato Head into units for their armies. The Creation Workshop lets the community come up with wild racetracks, the most Orky of contraptions, or entirely new game modes.

The Trailer below gives the vibe that you can create some pretty cool-looking racetracks (like a friggen Space Hulk), but you can also make some game modes like an Orkz version of Twisted Metal or Vigilante 8. Players can squad up with friends to build in a completely synchronous environment, which sounds like a fun way to see who can make the wackiest stuff. It sounds like someone has already managed to create a working pinball machine and a theme park. Gork and Mork would be so proud.

Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks is a high-octane combat racing game where players pilot Ork-built buggies, tanks, and, recently added, Deffkoptas, through explosive multiplayer mayhem. Combining over-the-top weapons, outrageous Orky energy, and relentless speed, it delivers a unique mix of racing and destruction inspired by the brutal Warhammer universe.

The Creation Workshop update is now live as a free update for all Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks players on Steam, alongside a 55% discount for new players!
