One of the most popular early-access games that has been making waves in the gaming community is Valheim. The game was launched on Steam about a year ago and is a sandbox survival game. According to the Steam store listing, Valheim is described as “a brutal exploration and survival game for 1-10 players, set in a procedurally-generated purgatory inspired by Viking culture. Battle, build, and conquer your way to a saga worthy of Odin’s patronage!”.
Valheim became an instant success and reached the top 10 Steam titles within a week of its release with 95% positive reviews. Now, after one year, the game has garnered 337,018 reviews on Steam and is classed as Overwhelmingly Positive. Recent reviews have also been very positive, with 5,661 players giving their feedback in the past 30 days.
While Valheim is available on Game Pass for PC, console players are left wondering if they will ever get to play this popular game. For now, Valheim is only available on PC, but fans are hopeful that it will be available on consoles in the near future.
Valheim Making Its Way To Console
The popular survival game developed by Iron Gate and published by Coffee Stain is set to be released on Xbox Game Pass in March. This news comes from the Embracer financial report, which also revealed that the game will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one.
Although there has been no official announcement on a PlayStation release, fans are eagerly awaiting news on whether the game will be available on Sony’s console. Valheim features cross-play with Steam and the Microsoft store, allowing players to join their friends across different platforms.
The game has already sold over five million copies on Steam since its early access release in February 2021. With the upcoming Xbox Game Pass release, Valheim is set to reach an even wider audience and continue its success in the gaming world.
