Unique crossovers are not uncommon in media these days. Just recently, Rainbow Six Siege added a couple of WWE cosmetic bundles, and The Division 2 saw a Resident Evil crossover a few years back. Even throughout history, games and films have seen plenty of crossovers. For example, Robocop vs. The Terminator. This was a game on the Sega Megadrive/Sega Genesis from 1993, based on the story from 1992. Alien vs. Predator is another crossover that has occurred, most notably in films but also in video games. Some could argue Kingdom Hearts has been a massive crossover throughout the games, Ubisoft has had many, with Ghost Recon: Breakpoint bringing one interesting one in. That was the Tomb Raider crossover event. Speaking of Lara Croft, we have an even stranger crossover that no one expected or maybe even wanted.

This surprising crossover adds the world of Lara Croft and Tomb Raider to a game I never expected them to join. On January 31st, you can experience her world in the form of Powerwash Simulator. Yes, that’s right, the cleaning sim adds Lara Croft’s world to its story. The game is out now on PC and Xbox and available via Game Pass. On the 30th of January, it is supposed to be Nintendo Switch and PlayStation bound. So this ties in nicely with the crossover

The Facts Over A Tomb Raider And Powerwash Simulator Crossover

To get some glimpse of what to expect why not take a look at the trailer below

The crossover has been given a name. The content will be called the Tomb Raider Special Pack. It will offer access to a new campaign that contains five brand new levels. The trailer, as we see it, shows off a rather dirty Croft Manor. The official statement reads as follows:

Creating the TOMB RAIDER Special Pack has been an honour and a fantastic experience. We can’t wait for players to get up close and personal with Croft Manor and explore its many secrets!

Dan Chequer, Lead Designer at FuturLab

What Tomb Raider fan hasn’t explored Croft Manor and thought ‘Winston could really use some help with these grounds! I would love to power wash this place!’?”. Now, with the help of Square Enix Collective and FuturLab that’s not only possible, but immensely satisfying as well.

Dallas Dickinson, Crystal Dynamics Tomb Raider Franchise General Manager

We know the community wants more to clean, and I’m delighted we’re able to kick off our post-release plans in style with this TOMB RAIDER collaboration. We’ve had so much great support from players, press and content creators, and we wanted to do something special to say thank you!”

Phil Elliott, studio head at Square Enix Collective®

If you’re wondering how much it’ll cost, we see below that it’s free for all players!

So will you be jumping back in at the end of the month? As always, we’d love to hear from you.
