To no one’s surprise, the new Tokyo Xtreme Racer game on Steam was a hit and received very positive reviews from the community. The game features stunning graphics and interesting features for players of the racing genre. Seeing as it was the first real entry after 18 years, the developers needed a few months of constant feedback from players in early access. This allowed players to not only shape how the game turns out when it officially releases on September 25th, but also still get it at a hefty discount for $29.99 until its release day, which at that point, it will be $49.99.
But speaking of its early access period, what is being added to the game at launch?
Details on the Official Release of Tokyo Xtreme Racer
Seeing as it is a racing game, there are going to be a handful of new additional car models and parts. Players can also expect to enjoy a new story chapter and take on new rivals. But there will also be a delay for the “Replay” feature. The developers are also not able to add the requested “Record Ranking” system. This is due to the fact that they could not properly implement it because of a “lack of sufficient cheat prevention measures”.

That’s not to say this is the only new content players can enjoy when it leaves early access. Tokyo Xtreme Racer has added a lot of features in the months of its early access period. Such as adding perks, and driver skills that seem very in-depth from the patch notes you can find here.
Tokyo Xtreme Racer will be leaving early access on September 25th for $49.99. At this time, it will only be available on Steam, and there is no news on console ports for now.
