So Tokyo Game Show has kicked off and to begin with, we have some Xbox announcements for you. First up we have news from Square Enix bringing Octopath Traveller 2 to Xbox next year. The game launched towards the start of this year for PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and PC. So about two and a half years ago Game Pass subscribers got to experience the original journey. Now the sequel is finally arriving on Xbox. This is part of the improved partnership between Xbox and Square Enix. This has already led to the news Final Fantasy 14 will debut on Xbox.
Tokyo Game Show gave more good news for Xbox owners. On 23rd April, you can see the launch of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. Along with that, the game will also launch in Game Pass. The creator of No More Heroes Goichi Suda is working on a game alongside the creator of Deadly Premonition, Hidetaka Suehiro. That is Hotel Barcelona and the Xbox showcase also gave the first proper look at that title.
More News For Xbox Fans From The Tokyo Game Show
So we have even more announcements from the Xbox showcase. Let’s dive right in and see the other games. First off, we have Like a Dragon: Ishin! will be available on Xbox. Following that news it will also be available on Xbox Game Pass later this year. That was one of a few Like a Dragon games due as we reported. We also have coming on 9th November Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. When that launches later this year it will be available in Xbox Game Pass day one.
