I’m a huge fan of mystery games and Detective games or the CSI-style game. So the detective aspect in the Yakuza spin-off Judgment really appeals. LA Noire is another game I can’t recommend enough. So it’s nice to see another game of that genre though this one looks to be pretty unique. It’s developed and published by a studio called Lowbirth Games and it was in an advert for this upcoming mystery that I heard of it. Without that advert, I’d never have stumbled across This Bed We Made.
The premise of This Bed We Made is we have a third-person mystery. It’s set in a hotel in the 1950s and we play as a hotel maid. We get the chance to “snoop around strangers’ rooms to uncover their deadly secrets. Discover what links the clients together in this tale of love, heartbreak and murder!”. So it’s an interesting project. It is also available on to wish list now
What We Know About This Bed We Made
I’m not the only one who stumbled across it accidentally. The post by One Angry Gamer encountered similarly. Though they found it after the Kickstarter was canceled. The project seems to be back up and running though with a 2023 release window. It was PC bound along with PlayStation and Xbox. We also know from the article the developers are fans of Life is Strange which recently saw the first game and prequel getting remastered and now is available on all platforms. But this upcoming game by Lowbirth Games is very much on my radar and wish list now.
