Third-Party & VR-Focused State Of Play Date Confirmed

State Of Play

Just a few days ago, we shared with you some exciting news about the potential State of Play events on the horizon. According to Jeff Grubb, a reputable gaming journalist, there was speculation that Sony would be hosting a series of State of Play events in the near future. In fact, Grubb believed that the largest event would be taking place this summer, which is not surprising given that Sony has decided not to participate in the upcoming revamp of E3. So far, only Ubisoft has been confirmed for E3, leaving many gamers wondering what Sony has in store for them.

However, Grubb didn’t stop at the summer showcase. He also predicted that there would be a shorter State of Play event coming up very soon. The question on everyone’s mind now is, will we see this event and if so, when? It’s not uncommon for Sony to give very little notice of an event, as we’ve seen in the past. As of now, Sony has only announced an upcoming showcase, leaving gamers eager for more information.

As predicted, we have been given very little notice of when this event will take place. While the news was posted on Twitter, we also have a post on the PlayStation Blog, which gives us hope that more information will be coming soon.
