As well as this they gave us the news The Witcher remake is coming. It’s a complete remake from the ground up of the 2007 original.
I recently revisited the enhanced edition and on the whole, holds up incredibly well, but The Witcher remake will be much needed. This was a PC-only release and the console port was canceled. In fact, PlayStation gamers never got to experience the sequel, the debut of Geralt on Sony’s platform was the third game. So what news on the remake

It’s a full remake from the ground up in Unreal Engine 5. However the original isn’t a true open-world title. So will the remake be more faithful to the original or follow The Witcher 3 in being a fully open world? An article from Gamespot links the Q3 2022 earnings report for CD Projekt Red. This says that the game is a “story-driven, single-player open-world RPG – A modern reimagining of 2007’s The Witcher.”. We don’t know how they will change the original setup. Personally, I am really looking forward to this remake.
