The Witcher
The first game in the series launched on PC. The console version sadly never materialized. We revisited this title recently and that can be found here.

The Witcher 2: Assassin’s of Kings
This is another action RPG game and more in tune with the third though did appear on the console albeit for Xbox 360 just prior to the console being replaced by Xbox One. It also ties into the third game and first very closely chronologically.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

The Future Of The Franchise
The series all had us play as the iconic Geralt of Rivia. The remake should follow suit but the new trilogy we don’t know anything about the. We could continue the story of Ciri or even go further back and tell the story of Geralt”s mentor.. That is Vesemir. Or could it follow the events of the upcoming Blood Origin Netflix series? That is set over a thousand years before the Geralt was even born. The Netflix description reads
Every story has a beginning. Witness the untold history of the Continent with The Witcher: Blood Origin, a new prequel series set in an elven world 1200 years before the events of The Witcher.
So, if you’re just discovering the world of Geralt there are lots to get into. Why not take the advice of Joey Batey’s Jaskier? Toss a coin to your Witcher and enjoy a popular fantasy franchise.
