During Sony’s February State of Play, tons of exciting trailers were shown. From more gameplay of the anticipated Lost Soul Aside and a Nikke crossover DLC for Stellar Blade, there was a lot to enjoy. Especially the new trailer for The Midnight Walk, from Moonhood Studios. The developers working on the game previously made Lost in Random. This tactical third person dice rolling action game was a crazy combo that meshed well with the Tim Burton-esc art style, similar to their upcoming game. The choice for claymation is a real stand out, and fans of horror games will have a delightfully frightful time on May 8.
What to Expect from The Midnight Walk
The Midnight Walk is going to be a first-person survival horror game. In this game you will have to guide a little Potboy as The Burnt One. In this quest you will have to light your way across frightening creatures. The designs of everything shown so far, the world, creatures and environment are beautifully haunting. The game will feature hiding in small crevices, luring creatures away and first person shooting with a match gun. The latest trailer aired during the State of Play can be found below:
Considering the game will be in first-person, there will be an option to play using the PlayStation VR2. This will no doubt enhance the frightening experience of the title.
