Puella Magi Madoka Magica Magia Exedra is, as stated above, a turn-based RPG. This means instead of real time action; you will take turns attacking your enemies. While the enemies will take turns hitting you too. Where the spice in the gameplay lies is in the elemental break system. This will give you a damage boost against foes for getting the right combinations of elements used against them. You will have normal and special attacks, as well as ultimates to take advantage of.
The game will also be free-to-play, which means it will feature an in-game shop.
