Elden Ring is the phrase that pays in the gaming space. I have put almost 100 hours into it so far and have barely beaten the Godskin Duo. To be completely honest though I would not be this far if not for the random Tarnished. These godsent angels swoop in to carry me on like the iconic Supernatural song always says. Just as I am about to put the controller down. That critical moment of “*explicit* this game I’m done”, a golden script appears on the floor near me.
This is a thank you message to all of those who have “gotten good” and given back to those who have yet to. The overpowered wizard, you know the one, who just needs a few moments to power up that Super Sayain God Spell to melt the boss. Can’t forget the dual-wielding vampire of a sword user who issues out continuous pain. That bow emote done upon materializing into the world symbolizing it is officially “carry season” brings tears to my eyes.
Random Tarnished Bloodstains Are Special Too
Those who are playing this title offline, wow, you are a different breed. Honestly, the number of times I have been saved from a terrible fate because of someone else’s failure is astronomical. Although, some of those ghosts of other players running around can get annoying. They also work as a warning about the pain I am going to endure. So, a thank you to those failing online, your shortcomings work as beacons of danger. But once again those who willingly write their name in gold upon the floor of the vilest of places, thank you.
Salute to the tarnished who constantly equip their cargo pants and back braces. May your mimic gain its old strength, and may your build never be nerfed.
