When we told you about the March PlayStation Plus offerings, one game stood out to me in that list. Like “Stray” before and the upcoming “Meet Your Maker” soon, Tchia launches day one in the service. However, as the PlayStation service is now a three-tiered system it will only be available in the top two tiers which are Extra and Premium. The game launched into the service this week on the 21st of March to be exact. As we’d gotten closer to the launch of the game we slowly found out what to expect from the game.
Tchia is an open-world game where we play as the titular girl who is on a tropical island archipelago. According to Steam it’s a “poetic coming-of-age story inspired by New Caledonia”. She’s trying to locate her missing father on the islands as well. The game also lets you “Climb, glide, swim, and sail your boat around beautiful islands”. The game is also developed by Awaceb, which according to the studio’s FAQ is New Caledonian slang for “It’s all good”, or “No worries”. It was founded by Phil Crifo and Thierry Boura who as the FAQ also states “are from New Caledonia, a tiny island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean”.

This is thanks to Psnprofiles, who have listed all the trophies needed to get a platinum trophy. After all, there are some people out there who like to have the platinum trophy or 1000G in this indie game. But, it doesn’t first seem like you’re accomplishing it rapidly in this game. You must complete every task at a perfect score to earn the platinum award. That means finding every treasure chest, opening every chest, and finding every campfire.
