Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League was slated to be due in a couple of months. The last we saw of it was at the recent State of Play where we saw a large chunk of gameplay. The game, which is set a few years after the event of Arkham Knight has one emotional aspect as well. As we know it marks the final appearance as the Dark Knight for Kevin Conroy who sadly passed late last year. The game is also needing to be online only even after f played solo which isn’t a popular decision

Now VGC has reported some news regarding the launch of Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League. The first news was from a report by Bloomberg which said a source the game will launch later this year. Then Jeff Grubb appeared on a podcast stating the game may be pushed back until next year. This is what he said in the podcast.

I don’t want to cause a panic or anything, but I’ve heard it’s not even coming this year, I’m hearing 2024.

Earlier this evening I heard, they’re like, ‘this is a delay ass delay’, like this is a bigger delay than is even being put out there.

We’ll see. That stuff is hard to nail down for sure. I’ll say that this source has always been a very good one.

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League And What Is Happening

Now we have a story posted by Gagadget. Therefore what we have now is it seems that the game is being delayed. Though at the time of writing, we are yet to hear anything official yet. Also, developers on the project are happy with the game and won’t be changing mechanics. So it seems the online-only aspect for now remains. This won’t please fans as the delay was reported to be due to their negative reaction toward this aspect of the game. It’s another wait-and-see moment for Barley Quinn and Co.
