It goes without saying that Stellar Blade, previously Project Eve, had a lot of interest. Coming from Shift Up, the devs behind the popular action shooter RPG, Nikke: Goddess Of Victory. After becoming a PlayStation exclusive after its reveal, we’ve been waiting for a more in-depth look. During yesterday’s State of Play from PlayStation, we got a new Stellar Blade gameplay trailer and a release date!
During the showcase, we got a big glimpse at new info for the upcoming title. We got a bit of background on the story of the game, as well as introduced to the world and its characters. However, the most interesting was the new gameplay mechanics revealed. From quests to crafting, a skill tree, and even some badass combat moments. The game shows it has quite a bit there for hack-and-slash ARPG fans of games like DMC or Nier.

Along with the new gameplay trailer we also got confirmation of the release date. The team confirms that the game will be launching this year on April 26th. The game is currently available for pre-order and will also have a physical version.
With that new Stellar Blade gameplay trailer the game certainly has a lot going for it. The game looks visually stunning and ambitious from their mobile title. Be sure to share your thoughts down below.
