We recently recommended some under-the-radar recent and upcoming horror games to keep an eye on. The horror genre has some fantastic indie games that are well-catered for. Even if you exclude the popular franchises like Resident Evil, Silent Hill, or the ones on our mentioned list, there are still plenty of options. Games like Martha Is Dead, The Town Of Light, and Visage are some examples. Additionally, we could consider Fobia – St. Dinfna, Maid of Sker, MADiSON, or Tormented Souls.
Now, we have another game that is currently available on PC and soon to be released on PlayStation. The game is called Someday You’ll Return.
Moreover, The Director’s Cut version is what is listed on Steam, and the premise is a horrifying and dark one. The game poses a question in its description: “What would you do if your daughter didn’t come home?” Additionally, Someday You’ll Return: Director’s Cut is a first-person psychological horror game that features a captivating storyline, upgraded features, and additional content. Someday You’ll Return: Director’s Cut Release Details
The game is now playable on PC and comes with a free Director’s Cut update, which was made available earlier this month after the game’s initial launch in 2020. Additionally, the game is set to make its debut on PlayStation. Also, it will be a cross-generational release, meaning it can be played on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The game is currently available on the PS store, with a price of approximately $25.00 USD or £19.99 GBP. The changes included in the Director’s Cut can be found listed on the Steam store.
