In Soccer Story, all the problems you will face can be solved with a magical soccer ball. Yes, you are the chosen one of the soccer world who is on a quest to save it from an evil organization.

The foundations of soccer are in pieces as a result of “The Calamity”. A year after that horrific event Soccer Inc. has done everything in its power to ensure that no one can touch or even kick a soccer ball. Even though soccer has been banned across the world, you find yourself being its only hope. A magical soccer ball has chosen you as the Savior of Soccer. You will set off on an RPG adventure, solving puzzles and of course, playing soccer matches.

- Drop your soccer ball and play anywhere! The world is full of goals, puzzles, and secrets – it’s up to you to find them!
- Play a single-player story full of quirky characters, quests, rogue refs, and wacky soccer-adjacent sports
- Build your soccer career and do battle against the fiercest soccer teams like literal sharks, toddlers, old-age pensioners, and ninjas
- Save soccer and restore peace and harmony to the world
- Grab a friend for a four-player local multiplayer match mode with a full roster of teams and animal captains

After putting in a few hours, I can say that Soccer Story has the feel of an RPG adventure game. You can improve your character through a combination of exploring the vast world, leveling up your attributes, and acquiring new equipment. Then, of course, there are the frantic and exciting soccer matches. Furthermore, PC players, please use a controller. The first match pits you against a toddler team named “Toddlers FC,” so you know it has to be cute and funny. As an added warning, this group of kids is not to be trifled with; I lost to them several times and they are ferocious. Soccer Story is a must-play if you want to maintain your soccer-centric frame of mind especially in between World Cup 2022 matches.
Soccer Story is releasing on November 29th, 2022 on Steam, Xbox X|S, Xbox Game Pass, and PlayStation 5.
