Smalland from Merge Games has been out on the market for over a year now and has received a ton of love from the community, and its developers in the way of updates. The game currently sits on Steam with a “Very Positive” rating, and with equally high ratings on the Xbox and PlayStation stores. The game is seemingly influenced by Grounded from Obsidian. Where you play a shrunk down human and survive against bugs and nature itself. The game has received smaller updates, like world rebalancing amongst other hotfixes. But in a recent update, the game has finally received a highly requested feature, Cross-Play. But that’s not all, as the game also added in a few other features for players to enjoy.
Cross-Play, Guilds and More Come to Smalland
The key feature of the recent update was of course, Cross-Play. This allows players from every platform to play with each other. But there were also a few other features that came to Smalland. Such as guilds that persist across multiple game sessions. You can also make a guild encampment and defend it alongside your guild mates. There was also the addition of stables for your companions. You can either house them at your encampments, or simply summon them at will with a dedicated pebble. Finally, they added two new northern tree encampments. You will have to speak to Bonniedel to undertake the new quest for them.

This update is completely free for all players. Smalland is available on Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S for $34.99.
