When I went through the recent Next Fest event a few demos caught my eye. One of those was the remake of System Shock and the upcoming puzzle platformer Planet of Lana. Another demo that caught my eye was by the studio Frogwares who gave us several Sherlock Holmes games, including the recent prequel Chapter One.
They had another two recent Sherlock Holmes titles which received a redux release, Crimes and Punishments and then The Devil’s daughter. The revisiting of The Awakened was the next on the list for Frogwares. During the summer of last year, we brought you the news regarding this remake. So now we have more information on the upcoming release which was due in a few weeks.

Frogwares are mainly based in Kyiv in Ukraine. So when they announce a slight delay to the game it’s no surprise as to the reasoning behind the delay. Especially when you read about what they are facing. The Ukraine conflict has also hit GSC Game World and the development of STALKER 2 so to only delay this a few weeks is nothing short of incredible.
