She Sees Red Review, A Near Perfect Interactive Movie
She Sees Red is one of the best experiences I have had in an interactive movie. Over the years I have found myself playing them more and more. This game in particular does a lot of things great and very few things wrong. If you are looking to sit back, enjoy a good story, and yearn for more, She Sees Red is the game for you. Just be prepared, every choice you make in the game matters. Seriously! She Sees Red is a dramatic choice-based thriller about a murder in a nightclub. Someone has killed several people and a single detective has been assigned to the case. Throughout the game, you will experience what the killer does as he makes his way through the club. Every decision has a consequence and depending on the ending you come to those decisions could be great or catastrophic.
She Sees Red is not a very long game with approximately 62 scenes. Each playthrough took about me about 30 minutes. However, you have to play through the story more than one time. Per the game’s recommendation, players should go through the story at least twice while choosing different options than before so you can get a better understanding of what is happening and why. My personal recommendation is that you play it at least three times. The story is very gripping and pushes you to want to know what and why the murders are happening. The original language for this game is Russian. However, you can listen to it dubbed in English. I do not recommend you play this dubbed. The voice acting feels way off. Instead of getting natural flowing conversations, it feels actors went into booths alone and did their lines separately. It took me a bit out of the story at times as I tried to figure out why everything sounded so weird. In my opinion, players should listen to the game in Russian and read the subtitles.
Overall, She Sees Red is the perfect interactive movie for those interested in the genre. The story is gripping, the acting is great, and it has replayability. She Sees Red is available now on Xbox, Steam, and on Android Devices.
