New users previously got to try out the game pass service for $1 for the first month. Many users found ways to continue to use the promotion by registering using a different email address. Microsoft has a bunch of excellent game pass exclusives lined up for release in 2023. Titles like Redfall, Minecraft Legends, Sifu Arenas, Stalker 2, Forza Motorsport, MLB: The Show 23, and the long-awaited Starfield will likely draw millions of subscribers, new and old. After years of endless advertising of the service, there is no better time than now for Xbox to pull the promotion and capitalize on multiple months of service from subscribers.
