The long-awaited and much-rumored remake of Resident Evil 4 is almost here, and we’re gearing up for its release. The demo is now available, and I wasted no time putting the Xbox Series X version through its paces as soon as Capcom announced its availability. You can find all my thoughts and footage from that demo here.
With just over a week to go until the game’s launch, pre-orders are available on the game’s official website. In addition to the standard edition, there is also a Resident Evil 4 Deluxe Edition, which is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Unfortunately, the Resident Evil 4 Collector’s Edition is not available on Steam.
As for what content is included in each edition, it’s safe to say that the more expensive the edition, the more content you’ll receive. The Standard Edition includes just the game and some pre-order bonuses, such as the “Attaché Case: ‘Gold'” and the “Charm: ‘Handgun Ammo.'” PlayStation users will also receive a Mini Soundtrack as a console exclusive for both the Standard and Deluxe Editions. For the other editions, we’ll have to wait and see what’s included.
