Ratcheteer DX Release Date, PC Demo Out Now

Ratcheteer DX

Dive into a classic pixel-art journey in the updated action-adventure game Ratcheteer DX, launching on March 5 for Nintendo Switch, Steam for PC and Mac, and the Mac App Store. Developer Shaun Inman and publisher Panic also announced that a PC demo of the game is now available on Steam.

Ratcheteer DX is a fun retro-style action-adventure that puts you in the role of a young apprentice mechanic. The power plant and water treatment plant are offline. You wake up with the task of finding your mentor’s wrench, which leads to the discovery that the Cryo Colony is frozen and in danger. Embark on a Zelda-style journey equipped with your Crank Lantern and Wrench Sword to save friends, townsfolk, foes, and more. Retrieve the eight unassuming tools, which also open new paths of adventure.

Your quest will take you across the Snowcean to 6 regions, with 6 dungeons littered with hundreds of caverns, including Mechanic Town and Greater Caverns. Fans of 8-bit action-adventure games won’t want to miss the chance to save your mentor!
