After the announcement that Rainbow Six: Extraction would be getting delayed from its original release. Pushing it out of 2021’s release schedule and into 2022. We have now gotten an official release date and a new price point on top of some other details.

Rainbow Six: Extraction is now set to release on January 20th, 2022!
New Price Point!
Ubisoft has announced that it will be lowering the price from its original $59.99 price point. Now to $39.99 for the Standard Edition for all platforms. With the Deluxe Edition for $49.99. If you already had the game preordered before the price change, you will be refunded the difference. As well pricing on your order will be adjusted to reflect the change. Rainbow Six: Extraction will be launching on PlayStation4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC on the Epic Games Store, Ubisoft PC Store, Stadia, Luna, and also available in Ubisoft+.
The Buddy Pass
Players will be able to give up to two friends a download code to get access to a trial version of the full game for up to 14 days. Users will have to play in the same squad and Rainbow Six: Extraction does support Crossplay as well. Ubisoft has shown us how the Buddy Pass system will work.
By preordering either edition will net you the “Orbital Decay Cosmetic Bundle.” “Players who own Siege and purchase Extraction will also be granted the United Front bundle. Which contains four exclusive gearsets split between the two games. The United Front bundle will immediately unlock all 18 Operators featured in Extraction for use in Rainbow Six Siege.”
