The critically acclaimed role-playing game Baldur’s Gate 3 is a strong contender for Game of the Year. Originally released for PC and PlayStation, Xbox players eagerly await its release on their platform. Baldur’s Gate 3 is now in Xbox news but for a different reason unrelated to its Xbox launch. One of the game’s producers at Larian Studios, Ryan Clark, has left to join Playground Games.
Clark’s new role is of great interest to Xbox fans. Playground Games is best known for its popular Forza Horizon racing series. However, they are also developing a reboot of the beloved RPG franchise Fable. According to Pure Xbox, Clark has joined the Fable team as an animation producer. The article also provides Clark’s thoughts on this career transition from one acclaimed RPG series to another.
I’m super excited to share I’m starting a new position as Senior Producer at Playground Games! Looking forward to working with everyone.
The Future Of Fable
Ryan Clark joining the team is surely a positive one. Though we have no idea what shape the game is at. We saw an engine trailer at the Xbox Showcase this Summer. We had heard the game was in some playable state but other than that and the Summer update we’ve heard nothing. Hopefully, we get some news soon. The franchise is a loved RPG series and there are many excited for the reboot. I am one of those looking forward to the game’s release. However what about you? What are your thoughts on this upcoming game? Are you excited or skeptical about this? As always we love hearing your thoughts so why not share them with us? In roughly a couple of months, we have The Game Awards so we could potentially see an update then.
